Michigan Walk of Fame

The Michigan Walk of Fame, styled on the well known Hollywood Walk of Fame, praises Michigan inhabitants, past or present, who have made critical commitments to the state or country.

Situated along focal Lansing’s Washington Square, it meant to be the main complete Walk of Fame in the country to respect the commitments of its inhabitants on a statewide premise. Selections were acknowledged from individuals around the state and country.

The main gathering of Michigan Walk of Fame’s inductees were regarded on May 25, 2006 during Michigan Week. The 2006 inductees were reported on March 14 Stevie Wonder, Helen Thomas, Jeff Daniels, Dick Ford (Gerald Ford’s sibling), and numerous others went to the May 25 occasion to be officially enlisted. The aim was for twelve to be added yearly.

The second gathering of inductees was reported in fall 2007. The Walk of Fame was stopped after 2007.
